Newsletter No 31 Q1 2009
Spring time is arriving in France, and there are signs that the property market here is not going to do too badly. During February, we received more offers for properties that for any month last year, and viewing levels are steady if not spectacular. What is noticeable is that those who are viewing are in a good position, and looking to secure a bargain.
To stimulate the market further, we are offering a discount of 1,000 Euros from our agency fees for any clients who viewed with us in 2008, who visit and view during the remainder of this year, and subsequently by via our agency. Don't worry if you did not view through us last year, we are also proposing a discount of 1,000 Euros from our agency fees for any clients who purchase via ourselves this year, and use our preferred currency exchange dealers for their deposit transaction and a forward purchase for the balance of the payment.
For vendors and buyers we are also offering a our-areas.php facility, that has been featured in local and national media. This may be the way of getting your property ambitions on the move. We have also introduced a guaranteed currency exchange facility on selected properties. This concept, is we believe, unique to our business.
We are also looking to expand the Allez-Francais business and have plans for a Network of agents, similar to a franchise style operation in certain areas. We have already opened negotiations with a couple of potential agents to share our workload in the Poitou Charentes, before we expand into other regions.
As ever we have a super selection of stunning properties for you - many now at discounted prices. With the £:Euros rate predicted to fluctate anywhere between parity and 1.20 this year, the present time could be a great opportunity to make the move to France. If the UK's economic weakness is as bad or worse than is feared, parity may well arrive, making French houses significantly more expensive for UK buyers.
