One a more general practical note, lots of clients ask questions about their pensions abroad. If you have missed a few years NI contributions you may face a reduced state pension. You can make up missing years' contributions or get a forecast by visiting www.dwp.gov.uk. If you can't trace a pension you may be able to find it by visiting www.uar.co.uk (Unclaimed Assets Register).
